These were one of two pairs of dress-shoes I ordered from Hotter for a special occasion. Measuring put me on the borderline between Wide and Extra Wide, so I got these in Wide but the other style in Extra Wide, hoping one would be OK. I got my regular Size 6, but both styles were huge on me. Far too long to be corrected with a mere insert or heel-grip. I did double-check they were really 6s, and I hadn't received larger by mistake. But definitely 6. I guess past narrower shoes may not have let me get my feet in far enough, forcing me to size up. But I've always bought 6 as long as I can remember. Sadly, these have gone back, and returns are not free, meaning I lost money just on trying.

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women and ‘G-H’ for men.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
