I was looking for some dressy shoes for a special occasion, which can be tricky when you have wide feet including bunions, along with foot pain. Sadly, although I chose the size (6) I have worn since reaching adulthood, these came up like absolute boats on me. It wasn't a case of slightly too big - I looked and felt like a toddler trying Mum's shoes on! I did double-check I had received the Size 6, which I had. I'd gone for Extra Wide, as measurement suggested I was borderline between that and Wide. I appreciate this may have contributed to the shoes seeming longer too, as regular (i.e. narrow) fitting shoes might not let me get my feet in far enough. But anyway, there was a massive gap at the heels and they've had to go back. Although the return postage is prepaid, returns are not free, because they'll deduct it from your refund unless you're swapping for a different size. I could have tried the latter, but decided it was too much hassle. A shame.

Nothing wrong with the product except that your sizing seems a bit 'off' however your customer service leaves alot to be desired. I returned 3 pairs of shoes, sent them back for an exchange, got an email telling me I had been refunded for all of them, rang your team, nobody could explain it but I was told the exchanges were on their way (which they were) but when they arrived they didnt fit. Nobody in your team could explain the mix up over the emails. Not exactly happy with Hotter,

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women and ‘G-H’ for men.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
