Shoes were great but I needed a different size. I sent the shoes back with an instruction to exchange - hotter sent standard email to say the shoes had been received by them and that they would provide a further update. No update materialised for 2 weeks so I rang them. Turns out they had just refunded me (less the delivery charge!) without telling me - they couldn’t tell whether this was because the person missed that I’d asked for an exchange, or because I’d also asked to change the colour at the same time (which is apparently Against The Rules). I don’t get this because if you need to send me a different size what difference does it make if it’s also a different colour, you still need to send out a new pair??! But what got me was the lack of communication - I never received a further email saying that no exchange was being done or that a refund was being processed, which meant I had to chase hotter unnecessarily and I'm also £3 out of pocket because the exchange wasn’t processed properly. I’m a big fan of hotter and have bought numerous pairs of shoes from them over the years, but I felt quite enraged about my experience with them on this occasion and, being honest, I’m not sure I’ll order from them online again if they can’t sort this simple stuff out.

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
