I chose the pewter version of solei sandals and will not be wearing them now until next summer they are a versatile every day sandal for dresses, skirts and jeggings etc, I feel these will give me more support. I still have the original solei which were backless and a mixture of cream and light gold which have served me well. These were very comfortable which why I purchased the newer style. However I find the sizing is not exactly the same as my original pair so purchased 2 sizes for choice.

I bought these online which can be risky but Hotter shoes are consistently well made, good looking and very comfortable. These are great sandals. I like that they have proper backs as that makes you look well-dressed while still wearing cool, comfortable sandals.

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women and ‘G-H’ for men.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
