Over many years I have bought lots of shoes, boots and sandals from Hotter and never been disappointed. I bought the white Solei sandals at full price and found they are so comfy that I decided to get the blue ones particularly when I saw them at sale price. If I had any criticism it would be to ask for the ankle strap to be a tad longer.

I agree that narrow fit sandals are hard to find, especially with soft enough leather that doesn't rub when pulled tight. I also need a closed back to them as I wear half length orthotics that disappear out of the back of sling-back shoes (one has a 6mm heel raiser so the back needs to be deep enough and well).
Soleil does almost all of this and I now have 2 pairs. To make them perfect though, I've had to take them both to Timpsons to extend the length of the fluffy bit of velcro to fill the gap between the two bits of Hotter velcro on the ankle straps, so that I can pull them tighter. Sorry - can't include a diagram!
Maybe a small buckle on the ankle strap might be better (not too large or it could rub against ankles) with plenty of holes in the middle strap, not just the outer end. Velcro does lose its grip after a while.
All in all, a welcome change of a more presentable, soft leather and dainty sandal from the usual hefty ones with tough leather thick straps offered to those of us wearing orthotics but with narrow feet. Thank you.

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women and ‘G-H’ for men.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
