Not keen on these Leonie trainers sadly and would have returned them if I hadn't worn them and got the soles dusty. The Leonie trainers have an elastic 'lace' and, unless I am doing something wrong, the elastic lace cannot be tightened to fit your foot snuggly. Therefore as you walk your socks end up slipping down into the toe of the trainer. I ordered the standard fit but they are wider than the Chase II standard fit, which I have previously ordered and fit beautifully but didn't realise they were wider until after I had worn them and checked them against my Chase II so that didnt help with the socks slipping down either. The width isn't stated on the trainers so I was unable to check if I had been sent the correct width or not.

The trainers are comfortable and look nice on , they look a lot like leather but they are not advertised as leather, I bought a wide fit and there is plenty of toe room. They clean up nicely and don't need much care as they are well made.

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women and ‘G-H’ for men.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
