I ordered my usual size in Hotters, being a 7/41. When the shoes arrived they are actually labelled as being a 7/40! They were so small I struggled to even get them on my feet and certainly wouldn't have been able to wear them! When I returned them to the shop the assistant advised me that the size discrepancy was due to this particular shoe not having been made in Hotters own factory! This should have been mentioned in the details/size guide online - if I had known I would not have ordered them and saved myself the postage cost.

I have always worn a size six, including many pairs of Hotter shoes, boots and trainers but I couldn’t even get my feet in these and then had to pay two lots of delivery. Very disappointing as previously I have always had a very good experience.

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women and ‘G-H’ for men.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
