I'd never tried Hotter shoes before and had a succession of fabric trainers to accommodate my inherited bunion. I would take an EEE fit but they we're just a bit too roomy so I thought it was time to look around for something I could wear out in the autumn/winter. I came across these fabulous Poppy trainers and they fit very well indeed. That was a pleasant surprise and so I shall be back to the Hotter website when it's time to buy more shoes/boots!

These shoes are quite comfortable now I need ext wide fittings. Easy to put on. My first order never arrived so phoned Hotter and it got re-sent in very good time.

I ordered these online in Blue, size 5, standard width. They were lovely but I had to change them for Extra Wid. This was achieved easily at my nearest shop. The leather uppers and the soles are substantial and firm, the lining smooth. They are an excellent casual for winter, spring an autumn, providing god support.

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women and ‘G-H’ for men.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
