The boots are comfortable and to start with they were waterproof as advertised, but within a fortnight of wearing them for light walking on footpaths they were not in the least waterproof. I was coming home with socks wet through even walking on paths wet with dew - let alone rain-soaked paths. Since I bought them specifically for their advertised waterproof qualities, I am very disappointed. I complained to Hotter and they have taken them back for assessment. I have not heard back yet.

These appeared to be cheaply made (china) and were poor fitting and extremely uncomfortable.
