I sent back the GTX shoes because the widest fit in half a size longer than I take we’re still not wide enough. I have given up on Hotter now but they used to fit well. In desperation I have tried shoes from the extra wide footwear specialists but they are far too sloppy on my feet. At the moment I am wearing Keen’s wide fit shoes which are fine.

Well made and comfortable and have used them for years. Use all the time for walking my dog and one of the few pairs of Hotter shoes I can order and know that they'll fit.

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women and ‘G-H’ for men.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
