I’ve been buying Hotter shoes for years without a problem. However, this year I have bought two pairs of sandals where the sizing has been way off. The Lyla sandals were huge, at least a full size longer than they should have been. This has made me wary of ordering products I haven’t had before because the sizing is not standard anymore.

I returned these sandals as soon as I had tried them on because there was not enough adjustment on the strap that goes round the ankle. I needed to be able to pull it through further than was possible, therefore the fit was too loose.

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
