One shoe was very loose, kept slipping up and down when I walked.

I like the shoes and they are comfortable. I wore them for the first time on holiday and had to trim some material from the join of each shoe as it was unraveling, they didn’t seem to be finished off in a robust fashion. I also noticed that the edging stitches on the toe of one shoe had come undone so I’ll need to make a repair to secure it before it gets worse. I expected more of Hotter as I really like they’re shoes.

I will never again buy from Hotter. They rip you off on the postage (you can buy the same Hotter shoes from another retailer and get free delivery, Hotter charged me £8!), and when you try to speak to their customer service, you get a very rude adviser who isn’t interested in what you have to say. The shoes were returned, so I’m unable to comment on them.

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women and ‘G-H’ for men.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
