Payment options

Can I pay using a debit or credit card?

You can pay by credit or debit card. A standard pre-authorisation check will be completed when you submit your order to ensure there are sufficient funds to pay for your purchase.

Can I pay using PayPal?

Yes, we accept PayPal as a form of payment.

Do you accept American Express (AMEX)?

Yes, we also accept payments via Visa, Mastercard and Paypal for online and telephone orders.

Can I pay by cheque?

If you are sending in your order by post, we accept personal cheques and postal orders in addition to credit and debit card payments.

When will I be charged?

You will be charged using your chosen payment method after your items have been selected from our warehouse and despatched to your preferred delivery address.

If you’re paying by cheque it will be presented to the bank once the order has been placed.

What currency are your prices in?

Hotter Comfort Concept is a UK company and all our products are listed in US Dollars (USD). If you are paying by credit/debit card, or PayPal, your payment will be charged in Pound Sterling. This will be converted back to your local currency by your bank.

The amount that you will be charged will depend on the exchange rate on the day the charge is made.

Can I pay in US Dollars?

No. All purchases are made in Pound Sterling (GBP) and we do not accept any other currency as payment.

Will I pay VAT on orders sent overseas?

If you are located inside the European Union, you will automatically pay VAT.


If you are located outside of the EU, the VAT will be deducted from your order prior to despatch.

What are the customs charges for international orders?

You may be liable to import duties from customs (applies to countries outside the European Union). We have no control over the charges and cannot predict what they will be. If you have any concerns, you should contact your local customs office for further information.

Offers and promotional codes

How do I use my special promotional code?

Once you have selected an item(s) to purchase and clicked "Checkout" your shopping bag will be displayed. Beneath the list of items in your shopping bag is a space to insert your promotional code. Once you have entered your promotional code press the "Apply" button. Any appropriate promotion or discount will be added to/deducted from the total cost.

Do free postage promotions apply to overseas orders?

Occasionally we offer free shipping as part of a promotional offer. Expedited delivery is always excluded from free shipping offers.

Expedited Shipping is not offered if your goods are on pre-order.
