WE ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT FAIRNESS AND EQUALITY.

Following the reporting regulations set out by the UK Government we have extracted data about the pay of our colleagues as at the 5th April 2018.

“At Hotter we are proud to support diversity and gender equality, and reflect this through fair pay.” Ian Watson CEO

We are confident that each gender is paid equally for the same equivalent job across our business.

Our published gender pay gap figures suggest that there is a gap, mean of 16.1% ( vs 26.1% LY) and a median gap of 3% (vs 8.6% LY).

We have the same W/M ratio as LY but 64% women's upper quartile vs 55% LY.

As a footwear brand that has a predominantly female product portfolio, our customer advisors both in store and in our support centre (almost 70% of our work force) attracts an overwhelming percentage of female employees, who are attracted to the role because of their passion for shoes and fashion.

Our gap on bonus payment is reflective of a productivity bonus we pay to our footwear moulding engineers in our UK factory.

Due to the nature of this role it tends to attract more male footwear moulders.

We are not complacent at Hotter and are committed to keeping this under review and to making continuous improvements wherever possible.

This statement and the published information is accurate at the time of publishing.
