I ordered these sandals in wide fit. Unfortunately the straps across the top of the foot were not made long enough to allow my foot to fit though. The footbed maybe wide fit, but the straps and fasteners were certainly not wide fit length.
I have always bought Hotter shoes/sandals and found them very very comfortable but now they are making styles that are not fit for purpose on wide fitting items.
Most sandals have a wedge which I cannot wear due to arthritis and the flat ones do not seem to have such a cushioned footbed which I require.
Please Hotter think about the older feet among your customers.

The leather was a little bit hard to start but after some polish and gentle breaking in around the house they are now fine.

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
