I ordered a standard size but got wide. Unfortunately I had thrown the box away before I realised so couldn't return. They are really pretty and neat but far too wide for me

They look smart and of good quality, and seem like they'd last a long time. Only thing I didn’t like was when I wore it first day without socks, the leather around my toes was really stiff and tight and cut into the area just under my left big toe, making a small area of skin peel, red and raw and it hurt. Really needed a plaster at that point but didn’t have one at hand. The adjustable width from the 2 buckles did help a lot in making it less tight and less chafing on the top of my feet so I loosened the strap with the top buckle a bit and it stopped rubbing against the injury so much and I survived the work day. Overall, I think this was a good purchase but I don't recomment wearing it without socks at first because it seems to require some breaking in before it is comfortable to wear without socks. It's a really smart looking shoe and goes with many clothing styles. I wore it with a skirt but I'm sure it goes with dresses and trousers too. Tempted to buy the light mink one but I don't really have things that go with that colour.

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
