Countess of Wessex to visit Hotter Shoes
The Countess of Wessex will visit the UK's biggest shoe maker Hotter Comfort Concept on Monday October 15th.

Her Royal Highness will take part in a tour of the factory which makes one on every three pairs of shoes made in the UK. She will also meet staff in the company's UK and USA customer service centres and be introduced to the team behind Hotter's current retail expansion programme - which has spearheaded the opening of over 35 stores in the past two years.

"We are delighted to have the opportunity to welcome our Royal visitor and be able to show her the passion and pride of our very British brand," said Stewart Houlgrave, Hotter Comfort Concept Founder and CEO. "We manufacture 1.6 million pairs of stylish comfort shoes each year in our Lancashire factory, which combined with our innovative multi-channel retailing makes Hotter a very unique brand." Hotter shoes are sold via mail order, and branded stores nationwide and the company employs nearly 800 people across the UK.

"We are fiercely proud of our British heritage and we invest and reinvest in development and new technology to continually improve our 'Comfort Concept' and wow our customers."

During HRH's tour she will also meet seven Hotter employees who have each served more than 30 years with the company and she will be presented with a pair of Hotter shoes.
