I wouldn't normally describe myself as 'Stylish' (not just because I'm not 'Conservative' in any sense) or say 'I'm Into Shoes' because I'll choose comfort over style any day, and with most comfortable women's shoes style isn't included. So my stylish-into-shoes claim is usually a theoretical position.
Most women's shoes have stupid, crippling high heels. And most flat women's shoes seem to have been designed to be ugly and boring.
But 'Solace' shoes are elegant and simple to the point of being sublime - the line and the balance of leather and elastic are just perfect. They look great.
And they fit. (I got a half-size bigger than I usually get, but I got the right size for my feet because I tried them on in a Hotter shop.) I can't remember the last time I bought slip-on shoes, because they're usually more slip-off than slip-on.
And they're comfortable to the point where I don't want to take them off at the end of the day.
'Solace' shoes fit. They're comfortable. They're beautiful.
So I'll echo what others have said - MORE COLOURS PLEASE! I'll probably buy almost all of them (even red and purple).

I stand on my feet all day and usually have to change shoes each day. These are fantastically comfy for 4 days on the trot, just the usual achy legs and feet but no more sore spots. Just need more colours now

I am absolutely delighted with this Solace shoe! I very seldom write comments but had to with this purchase as they have been a wonderful answer in providing support and comfort. My feet have become more painful as I have grown older moving up to another shoe size and width. The Solace has met every expectation and more. Thanks!

Don't want to go on and on about my foot problems, but they are relevant. I have high arches, the joints of which are afflicted with arthritis. The wide elastic band on "Solace" "gives" perfectly over my insteps and provides support for the joints, helping to minimize pain. Best of all is this: I have lymphedema in my lower legs, ankles and feet. The elastic band on "Solace" actually keeps the swelling out of my feet. I still have to wear compression garments on my legs, but with these shoes I actually don't have to wear the ugly, uncomfortable foot thingies. I hope the powers-that-be at Hotter will see my plea and offer "Solace" in a wide range of colors; the only color available to me now is black (sigh). I am positive there are thousands of women out there like me who would welcome the opportunity to buy this shoe in a variety of colors (for my taste you can skip red and purple). "Solace" is a winner and will probably be as popular as "Sugar" which offers such a good color choice. Shoes are like lipstick - once you find a winner you buy it over and over and over again.
