It’s simple, chic and a trend that’s back with more impact each season. Work monochrome styling into any outfit this Summer, there’s something for casual, smart or active days with black and white styles from our latest collection.

We asked designers Kim, Ellspeth and Rosie to give us their top tips for working monochrome into your wardrobe this season to make every day a stylish one #SummerOfStyle.

Casual Days

“For a casual look with a touch of monochrome, smart sandals Minorca, Leeward and Resort fit the bill” commented Hotter Designer Rosie. “Wear with a co-ordinating black and white outfit or keep your outfit simple and make your shoes stand out. Minorca in Black Patent is a favourite of mine; it’s perfect for putting a smart spin on a causal look.”

Smart Days

“Black and white shoes can be ultra-chic too” commented Senior Designer Ellspeth. “Add a little height to your smart outfit with wonderful wedge Hattie. This smart style is available in an elegant White cut out design or for a modern twist on monochrome, try Black and Off White textile.”

“Work monochrome into the office too with chic heel Antoinette. Keep it elegant with classic Black or stand out from the crowd with a bold White and Black mix.”

Active Days

“I love this trend as it’s one I can take out of my office wardrobe and straight into my active” commented Hotter Designer Kim. “Styles like Feather and Cloud tick the boxes when I’m co-ordinating my monochrome look. Feather in white is great for a classic, easy look whilst in Black, it adds a quirky twist with its white sporty style sole with silver trim.  And Cloud in Black is a great style to slip on and explore the day ahead.”
