Some great ways to stay active this year might include:

Walking

Walking is such an underrated form of exercise! It’s actually excellent for your body as a form of low impact activity. Try aiming to have a brisk walk for 30 minutes a day to get the full benefits.

Pair your walk with Gravity, the seriously sporty shoe that with ensure every step you take is cushioned and comfortable.

Yoga

You can attend a physical Yoga class or even try a class online (try searching on YouTube) to enjoy the benefits of this ancient practice. It’s a brilliant form of movement because not only does it gently raise your heart rate it also provides strength training for your muscles via holding your own body weight in postures. This weight bearing exercise is excellent for your bones. There’s a form of Yoga for every body so why not give it a try?

Yoga is all about being comfortable and relaxed, invest in cushioned and lightweight style Aura.

Try something different

There’s a wide range of unusual and exciting new ways you can move your body that are also really fun. Nia Dance is a non impact form of exercise that combines dance movement and gentle martial arts movements. Hula hooping is a really fun way to get active and Pilates is a focused way of moving your body and muscles to support your posture.

Try something different this season with Leanne, our seriously stylish sporty shoe that is ideal for your new athletic adventures for 2018.

Laura’s view on healthy living:

‘It’s so much more than just food and exercise. It’s your mindset, how you feel about your body, how you express yourself, your style, your environment and what you put on your skin. It’s whether or not the job you do makes you happy, your stress levels, quality of sleep, your relationships and your finances. Yes, food and exercise are really important, but to me, health is a culmination of all of those things.’
