We’ve been working with our charity partner Marie Curie since 2018 and have raised over £200,000 in that time – which could help fund 10,000 hours of care.
To celebrate and showcase our incredible partnership with Marie Curie, we arranged a floral workshop at McQueen’s Flower School.

On Tuesday 15th March 2022, we welcomed VIP guests to take part in our flower arranging workshop in Mayfair, London. All was to celebrate our fundraising efforts for Marie Curie, as well as our launch of our limited-edition Marie Curie Tara shoe.

Marie Curie began by introducing themselves and our partnership, going into detail on all the fundraising efforts that have amounted to the amazing £200,000 raised to date. A Marie Curie Bereavement Counsellor from a local hospice then briefly spoke to the group, sharing her personal account of our partnership and how the fundraising helps.
From there, our guests were given a class in creating a spiral hand-tied flower bouquet with a range of beautiful flowers, including poppies, daffodils, wild-flowers in blue and the iconic Marie Curie yellow.

Overall, it was a highly successful, informative and (not to forget) enjoyable night. Our attendees loved hearing about the partnership and were amazed by the amount raised. They loved to see our Spring Summer 2022 collection on display and were impressed with the finish and quality of the products.
If the evening wasn't fun enough, all our guests left with Hotter goodie bags. Along with their potted arrangements and Hotter branded McQueen's apron from the night, they also took home our SS22 look book, a biscuit bouquet from Biscuiteers, Marie Curie daffodil bulbs and a pair of Hotter shoes.

We’re proud to support the Great Daffodil Appeal this March and have been doing our part to raise money through the likes of bake sales, wearing yellow in the office and launching our limited-edition Tara canvas shoe with a daffodil print in Marie Curie’s iconic yellow.
For every pair of limited-edition Tara sold, we pay £10 to Marie Curie.
