Do you ever feel you need styling inspiration, or can’t decide between a classic shoe or contemporary shoe? Well, fashion stylist Rivkie Baum is here for you.
Following her classic choice of Harmony II last month, Rivkie chose contemporary style Raise and is here to shed some light on what she loves most about these shoes and, most importantly, how she styles them.

Parties are back, and there are few shoes this season that offer the level of comfort, style and glamour that you get with Hotter’s Raise.
I absolutely love this shoe; it really does have it all. The metallic finish is bright but subtle, and of course that flash of sparkle makes them great for evening wear. With an aesthetic that combines brogues, trainers and Creeper shoes, they offer a trend-led look and feel. While they can certainly be worn for evenings out and special occasions, Raise’s slight nod to sportier styles ensures that they are wearable in the day too.
Androgynous in their execution, Raise is perfect for pairing with more tailored pieces, from cigarette trousers to jumpsuits and formal suiting styles. Their sleek and streamlined appearance look great from under a neat trouser hem. For those after a more fashion-forward execution, you can also easily pair these shoes with an Autumnal floral dress. Really play on that androgynous feel combined with floatier fabrics.
Here I’ve styled them with a tuxedo-inspired jumpsuit and an on-trend, oversized collared shirt. I really wanted to emphasise how evening wear doesn’t automatically mean heels or strappy sandals.
