Our brand new campaign for the season focuses on the versatility of our Autumn/Winter range and how you can find the perfect footwear for any occasion with Hotter. Taking inspiration from a variety of different environments, we have introduced a range of new and updated styles, in an array of irresistible colours, to take you right through the season.
We took to the seaside for the inspiration for our first style focus of the season – Fit for Coastal Days. The transition between Summer and Autumn is a gradual process and we were keen to be able to offer a range of styles that would suit both the late Summer warmth and the early Autumn chill. The coast has much to offer throughout all seasons, from sunbathing and splashing in the sea, to long walks along the dramatic coastlines and quiet piers once the Summer crowds have departed. There is something innately nostalgic about a visit to the seaside and it makes a wonderful day out for all ages, whatever the weather.
To illustrate our campaign, our creative team chose scenic Cornwall, which is renowned for its stunning coastline and beautiful beaches, to capture the essence of coastal adventures in Hotter shoes. The nine-day photography shoot took place way back in April, in the pretty town of Fowey, at the very picturesque Mevagissey harbour and up on the coastal paths. This area is affectionately known as ‘Poldark country’ due to its association with the novels of Winston Graham and its status as the filming location of the hugely successful BBC adaptation.
Our team of producers, photographers, stylists and models worked tirelessly, snapping, styling and posing against the perfect backdrop to display our lovely shoes in all their glory! The photographs show the very best of the coastal area, from the cobbled streets leading to the harbour, the glorious sandy beach and the breezy clifftops.
Take a trip to the coast yourself and enjoy everything it has to offer. If you live in or are planning a trip to Cornwall, why not take in the lovely town of Truro? Our Truro store team offers an insight into what there is to see and do in and around the pretty, Cornish, coastal town.
