Shoe sizes can vary between brands, so to help you estimate which size of Hotter shoes will fit you best, we have developed this handy fitting guide.
Simple Steps to Find Your Perfect Size and Fit
We have a wide variety of width fittings at Hotter ranging from Slim fit to EEE fit. Here is a simple guide to help you find the Hotter width best suited for you.
SLIM FIT: Recommended if you generally require a UK Slim fit size.
STANDARD FIT: This gives the equivalent width of a D to E fitting.
EXTRA WIDE FIT: This gives the equivalent width of a EE fitting.
EXTRA EXTRA WIDE: This gives the equivalent width of a EEE fitting.

DUAL FITTING: In both our men's and women's collections we offer a range of Dual Fitting shoes. These give you the option to remove a layer under the insole to give a slightly wider fit. Find out more >

Getting started
  • You should wear your normal socks or stockings.
  • You may find it useful to get a friend to help you as you will get the most accurate measure of your feet when you are standing.
  • Print out our fitting guide by clicking on the appropriate link below and then follow steps 2 and 3.

Measuring your shoe size
  • Once you've printed the Fitting Guide using the appropriate link above, fold along the dotted line (as shown in the diagram to the right).
  • Place the fold against a straight surface such as a skirting board, this will allow you to position your foot more accurately on the fitting guide.
  • Place the heel of your foot against the folded edge and check to see where your longest toe reaches, making a note of the nearest size (You may want to ask a friend to help you).
  • Repeat this process for your other foot.
Measuring your foot width
Most Hotter women's shoes come in two width fittings Standard and Extra-Wide - to work out which will give you the best fit follow the steps below.
  • Place a soft tape measure around the widest part of your foot (as shown in the diagram to the right) and make a note of the measurement in millimetres.
  • Taking your shoe size from Step 2 and your width measurement in millimetres use the table below to find whether you are Standard Fit or Extra-Wide Fit.
