This Summer, the nation celebrates 2 momentous milestones in British history, the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the Olympic Games. To join the celebrations in our very own way we gave two of our bestselling styles, Shake and Leanne, a patriotic makeover and you loved them so much, they've sold out!

Just 1,600 pairs of Shake and 1,200 pairs of Leanne were manufactured in our factory here in Lancashire.

Here's a few of our customers wearing their patriotic shoes for the Queens Diamond Jubilee and we're hoping they'll be wearing them to the Olympics too. Ruth Calcott certainly will as her grandson will be rowing in this year's games!

Mrs Prince
Our Bromley store were finding fun ways to raise money for a local hospice and to help with their efforts held a raffle for their customers. The lucky winner was Mrs Prince, here she is with her winning pair of Shake, and the perfect finishing touch, she's wearing an original 1977 Jubilee scarf!
Hilary Fletcher
Hilary Fletcher and her friend Julia, celebrated the Diamond Jubilee in style with their very own garden party. "We were on our feet all day, yet we were still smiling happily at the end of it, thank you all so much" she told us. Here they are accessorising Leanne and Shake with all things red, white and blue.
Ruth Calcott
Ruth Calcott sent us this fantastic photo of her wearing limited edition Leanne. She wore them to a Jubilee themed party and to an open day at the local church, she loved them so much she'll be wearing them to celebrate the Olympics too! Her grandson is rowing and she'll be cheering him on in her patriotic pair.
Jane Vokins
Hotter fan, Jane Vokins, wore her limited edition Leanne to a Jubilee tea party at Anne of Cleves House in East Sussex. The party was to raise money for the house which is owned and managed by the Sussex Archaeological Society. And as you can see, along with her red, white and blue shoes, they even had Jubilee plates to match!
We hope all our customers who bought limited edition Shake and Leanne are still wearing them with pride to celebrate all things British this year. As a British shoemaker we love to join in the nation's celebrations and last year we even manufactured a limited edition shoe, Etna in Red, White and Blue to celebrate the Royal Wedding. So what's the next big occasion you think we should celebrate in comfy Hotter style? We'd love to hear your suggestions, simply email us at
